Fees, association rules, season schedule, uniform requirements, and everything else you need on the field.
Official Expectations
- Arrive Early — Be at the field at least 15 minutes before kickoff.
- Professional Appearance — Wear a proper football official uniform at all times. Looking professional is extremely important.
- Know the Rules — Review the rules for each level before you step on the field. Rules can vary between associations and age levels.
- Communication — Contact your assignor immediately if you will be late or need to cancel.
- Incident Reporting — Report any ejections or conduct-related incidents to your assignor within 24 hours.

Uniform & Equipment Requirements
- Shirt — Black-and-white striped referee shirt
- Pants — White knickers or black pants (check with your assignor)
- Shoes — Black athletic shoes
- Whistle — Bring your own quality whistle to every game.
- Penalty Flag — Yellow flag required. Have a backup available.
- Down Indicator — Bean bag or down indicator required for certain positions.

Contact your assignor as soon as possible. Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance. Inside 72 hours, you are responsible for finding your own replacement.
